Wisconsin Turkey Pizza Burger

Prep Time: 5 Min. Cook Time: 15 Min. What you need:
* 3 Tbsp. butter
* 1 c. diced celery * 3 c. cooked turkey, finely chopped * 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce * 1 tsp. salt * 1 tsp. ground oregano * 1/2 tsp. pepper * 8 slices (1 oz. each) Wisconsin Provolone cheese * 4 hamburger buns (8 halves) toasted and buttered What to do:
1. Melt butter in large skillet. Sauté celery slowly until tender. Add turkey and cook until warmed. Add tomato sauce and seasonings; simmer.
2. Arrange bun halves on baking sheet. Spoon approximately 1/2 c. turkey mixture over each half. Top with a slice of Wisconsin cheese. 3. Bake at 300°F for 5 min., or until cheese melts. |
